What Is Energy Healing?

Energy healing is centered around treating the ENERGY that governs both your body and your mind.  While energy work was once and is still somewhat shrouded in a cloak of mysticism, our modern era has brought some wonderful developments, such as the scientific study of human energy fields, brain sciences, epigenetics, meditation, contemplative practice, natural medicine and the like.  Dr. Dispenza’s work, and that of many others, are scientifically quantifying the amount of energy humans generate when they go into deep states of meditation and open their energy fields.  We understand enough about microwaves and radiowaves and soundwaves to know that they exist, even though we cannot see them. We are beginning to truly study the science of the brain from a standpoint of its energy production, transmutation or mutation, coherence and more. We can literally measure people’s states of consciousness, and know exactly when they move from states of beta to alpha or gamma!

It’s time to become aware, through education, self-study, guidance, application and integration, of the life force energy that TRULY exists within you.  Healing practices such as Reiki are powerful tools for your toolbox of self-care, self-regulation, self-healing and self-evolution.

Reiki, literally translated to mean universal life force energy, is a form of energy healing. The  practitioner, drawing from their Reiki training and countless hours of application and practice with healing energies, channels their own life force energy into the recipient to activate the recipient’s own natural healing processes.  One of the many byproducts, side effects or benefits of this NATURAL (untouched by chemical attempts to bandage the wound) form of healing is immediate enhanced emotional and physical well-being for the recipient.

Reiki is such a beautiful energy practice with so much depth, history, tradition and success!  Reiki has zero negative side effects – only positive benefits and successful outcomes. Working with energy allows one to connect the brain with the body, in ways otherwise inaccessible.

Reiki is made up of two words: Rei, or the higher intelligence that created and guides the flow of the universe, and Ki (Chi in other cultures), the energy realm of the non-physical, but that which truly animates and enlivens all living physical things. All forms of energy healing work with the energy field of a human being to produce very measurable magnetic and electric effects, which in turn have very real and measurable effects on living tissue in the human body!  How cool is that?

Research continues to mount showing that different Hertz (Hz), cycles per second, produce different measurable effects on the body. Science demonstrates that 2 Hz promotes nerve regeneration, 7 Hz stimulates bone growth, 10 Hz helps repair ligaments, and at 15 Hz capillaries form.  We can’t ignore the truth: Energy is what changes or determines matter, not the other way around.  By working with energy fields through Reiki, yoga, breathwork, meditation and more, you can change your own body’s energetic frequency to bring itself back into balance.

Distance Reiki is possible, given that energy exists in ALL things, and simply requires the Reiki healer to dedicate their time and complete focus on the recipient’s energy field (or name or photo), and also requires the recipient to devote their time to receiving the Reiki healing.  You may be on Zoom or a phone call with Krista, or you could even be electronically disconnected from the session, as long as you are in an environment that allows you to relax enough to focus your attention on receiving healing energy.

What To Expect:

Reiki healers usually scan the recipient with their non-dominant hand in order to energetically connect to the recipient’s energy field, and ascertain where the recipient needs healing in their energy/physical body. Tingling, pressure, slight changes in temperature, slight changes in the recipient’s or healer’s breathing, and other factors indicate where energy healing needs to occur. Once your assessment is complete, the healing begins. Using both hands, Krista will begin your healing session. You might notice she lingers over certain areas of your body with her hands for some time. She will remain there until she no longer feels energetic changes.  Once the area has healed, changes cease and a calm energy sets in. It’s time to move to another area of your physical/energetic body for healing.

After Your Session:

Try to be aware of how and when you hydrate and feed your body. Given that your energy system is moving at a more optimal pace, it’s all the more vital to take in good food and plenty of fluids such as water or fresh juices. It’s a really powerful time to reflect, journal or meditate at some point after your session. Your energy session ended, but the benefits have only just begun!  Try hard to assist the work of the Reiki healing through meditation, yoga, other exercises, or contemplation of your choice, to see more tangible changes.

If you are already pretty in tune with your body, have heart and brain coherence or the like, you will definitely feel effects of the treatment from the moment it begins, until long after.  Regardless of your level of sensitivity to energy at this time, you will experience a prolonged uplifted feeling, and have greater stores of energy, as your healing progresses.

A remote session is $165/60 minutes or $225/90 minutes.

An in-person session, currently available in the Orlando area only, is $165/60 minutes or $225/90 minutes.
