It’s Tuesday, my absolute favorite day of the week because every Tuesday we post new Yoga Asana Tutorials for you on Olotita’s Youtube channel!

In Video #8 in the Yoga Asana Series, we continue adding onto the what we learned last week, and we add on the next two standing postures in the Ashtanga Yoga standing sequence – Utthita Trikoṇāsana and Parivr̥tta Trikoṇāsana – Triangle Posture and Revolved Triangle Posture!

Last week we added Thumb to Big Toe posture and Hand to Foot Posture – the first two standing poses in the Ashtanga Standing sequence. Each week as we add new postures, bring this information back to your daily practice that you’re diligently working to create. So tomorrow, when you take practice, start with 3-5 Sun A, 3 Sun B, Thumb to Big Toe and Thumb to Foot Posture, and add these new Triangle postures after that in your personal home based practice.

I always encourage you watch the tutorial videos all the way through the first time you watch it so you can fully absorb the lecture portion of the video. Timestamps are listed in the description box of today’s Youtube tutorial video for your ease of reference back to this video to review or practice along with Utthita Trikoṇāsana and Parivr̥tta Trikoṇāsana.
