Learn to Properly Hold Your Spine in Space and Maintain Good Posture On and Off the Mat, in Video #6 in the Yoga Asana Series!

This week we dive deeper into how to hold our spine in space and stack our weight as we move through space. Using Adho Mukha Shvanasana or Downward Facing Dog, and Chaturanga Dandasana or Low Plank Posture as case studies, we will explore these concepts in the 3D.  Low Plank position is a fundamental functional movement of Sun Salutation A, B and all seated vinyasas!  After today’s video, you’ll have a better understanding of how to use your yoga practice to teach your body to have and maintain good posture, on and off the yoga mat.



Today’s video is one of the true tutorial videos in our Yoga Asana Series, so I recommend you watch the video all the way through the first time you watch it, so you can fully absorb the lecture portion of the video. Then, you can play it again and practice along with the concepts of movement, muscle activation, breathing techniques, etc.
