Private instruction, or one on one (1:1) personal instruction, AND Mysore engagements/classes are exactly the same method of teaching and learning this practice. Both are individualized learning and teaching of the Ashtanga Yoga system to each and every person, customized to where they are in time and space. Krista meets you where you are regarding physical health, wellness and capabilities such as flexibility, strength, balance and agility; understanding of the body/mind connection, and control of your breath; any prior knowledge or exposure to yoga and, if so, what type; if not, other kinds of body movements or sports, flexibility, strength, proprioception, and so much more.

In a 1:1 meeting, the 60-120 minutes is 100% yours. We’ll work solely on YOU, based on your needs, desires and physical abilities at that moment. Perhaps you have an injury to heal, a diet you’d welcome counsel on, or questions about your practice. Maybe you’d like to pull apart a yoga pose so YOU can understand it better. We’ll do it all.

Tuition and enrollment:

A remote session is $165/60 minutes or $225/90 minutes.

An in-person session, currently available in the Orlando area only, is $165/60 minutes or $225/90 minutes.

Special pricing is available through packages OR memberships.

Packages: We offer a 20% discount for prepayment for a pack of 10 sessions ($330-$450 savings). A 10% discount is available for prepayment of a pack of 5 sessions ($82.50-112.50 savings). These packages are available for purchase through our website.

    I have taken both privates and classes with Krista over the past five years. She is by far the most experienced and knowledgeable yoga teacher I have ever worked with. Although she is a master of both the physical and spiritual aspects of the practice, she is approachable and able to work with students of all levels. Her knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics is not only impressive but highly effective. I have experienced seemingly simple corrections or cues from Krista that have taken my practice to new levels. Lucky is the student who gets the chance to work with her either privately or in Mysore practice.

    I have been taking private yoga lessons with Krista for a couple of years and with her help I have been able to make significant progress in my yoga practice. Krista is very helpful with adjustments and guidance and working one on one with her really helps to visualize and understand the correct technique for the various asanas. In addition to her deep knowledge and experience in yoga, she also has incredible knowledge of human anatomy which also helps to understand all the potential benefits of the ashtanga practice. I travel regularly and with Krista’s help I have been able to develop a fairly consistent home practice that I can take with me anywhere I go and this also has allowed me to remain more consistent with my practice. I would highly recommend private instruction with Krista. For me it has been the key to finally making real progress after years of attending various studios and not really seeing much improvement.

    I was directed to Krista after a back injury due to a car accident when conventional treatments had failed to help me at all. I had lost feeling in one leg and was barely able to stand or even sit properly without excruciating pain. She took the time to read my MRI’s and was able to modify a yoga routine specifically to target my injuries. In less than 6 weeks I was able to move around again with minimal pain. In 3 months I was back to work in a physically intensive job. In 6 months I felt almost normal again. She helped me heal my body without surgery and get me back to a normal life. I believe with 100% conviction that her teaching works and that no conventional medicine could have treated my injuries in a better way.
