1-3 week Wholeness, Yoga Cultural and Adventurous immersions at unique destinations around the world. Since 2012 (with the exception of 2020 and 2021) Krista has created, organized, overseen, directed and guided and taught, yearly sometimes bi-yearly, Ashtanga Yoga Cultural Adventure Retreats from 1-3 weeks in duration at various locations around the world.
Krista found Yoga in College when she was earning her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Classical Studies and minor in Archaeology. She fell in love with a traditional yoga practice, steeped in history, language and culture; she fell in love with the skills you need to have or acquire to advance your practice; the humility and dedication and devotion you need to bring your body and your mind and your breath to your mat day in and day out regardless of the weather or your schedule or what your body wants or what your mind wants; she fell in love with the euphoria and peace she felt and feels each day she works on her practices. Due to a very turbulent and traumatic childhood, Krista has suffered from anxiety her entire life and when she found yoga, she found a natural treatment for her anxiety and depression. Krista nurtured this natural treatment and cure for her anxiety everyday for years and years and over time that turned into a deeply rooted passion that turned into a life path and a career. She is still very much a student of this practice, and of all things life has to offer her. And she is still very much a student of life and the entire world and she has worked hard through the years to tie in her education and passions for knowledge, culture, history, wholeness, self-care, accountability, perseverance, anatomy, nutrition and mindfulness to create unique and unparalleled Yoga and meditation and mindfulness retreats while also weaving in culture, history, adventure and travel. She is very proud of the offerings she creates each year and looks forward to publishing what she’s working on for 2022! Stay tuned!
