Our favorite day of the week here at Olotita!  This week on Olotita’s Youtube channel, I’m really excited to bring you another guided yoga class/practice along video.  This 26 Minute Guided Yoga Practice includes 5 Sun Salutation A, 3 Sun Salutation B, Standing Postures we have learned in tutorial videos #1-9, Bridges and Seated Hip Openers and rest.

In Video tutorial #1 we broke down Sun Salutation A.  In Video tutorial #2, modified finishing sequence.  Video #3 was the first guided practice video for you to apply what you learned from Videos #1 and #2.  Video #4 was a tutorial for Sun Salutation B.  Video #5 is a practice along, guided video, to help you practice what you learned from Videos #1-4.  Video #6 is a Yoga tutorial case study of several postures in the Sun Salutation sequence to dive deeper into how to work with gravity to maintain postural alignment no matter what position you put your body in.  Video #7 teaches us the first two standing postures in the Ashtanga Yoga sequence, Video #8 the next two or Triangles.  In Video #9 we are introduced to the side angle and revolved side angle postures.

And TODAY’s guided practice video is for you to apply what you’ve learned in Video #1-9.  Each week we will continue to build upon the information that we explore the week prior.  If you are consistent with making time for yourself to watch and practice to these videos, you will quickly find yourself enjoying the benefits of regular yoga practice and physical movement in general, but you will also begin truly memorizing the sequence, gaining strength, flexibility, balance, endurance and so much more.

This Ashtanga Yoga practice is something you can learn and carry with you for the rest of your life.  These tutorial videos are here to make learning this yogic style in an accessible and fun way; and to be able to do it from the comfort of your home, or convenience of your hotel room, anytime you want; and for FREE.

I post videos each week to build upon the topics from the week before and provide guided class style videos for you to apply what you are learning from the tutorial videos.  If you’d like to start at the beginning with video #1, scroll down to see the full list of Videos in the series, beginning with our foundations video #1.  Then work your way through each following video to begin learning the foundations of a Yoga practice you can learn and do at home, or while traveling; and all at your own pace.

All the video tutorials and classes on youtube are 100% free.  It is a way for me to share my passion for this practice, help others learn tools for self-regulation, health and happiness, and it is a true joy for me. All of Olotita’s tutorial videos are here to help you go a little deeper in your understanding of the body mechanics of the movements, and your own body in space.
